blocking a user

When I block or unblock someone, will they be informed?

I accidentally blocked someone (and unblocked her immediately afterwards when I realized my mistake) and I was wondering if they would be informed that I did block them in the first place. Hopefully I can avoid a misunderstanding from happening.

They are not informed unless they try to comment on your profile or one of your pics..
It will tell them "they have been blocked from commenting this user" .Other than that no.

Go to view your Favorite Artists, and it will have the blocked users list at the bottom. Click Unblock to unblock someone.

In the future, the "Block" link will generate a popup window for confirmation to prevent blocking by accident.
