Adoptable creating help

Not exactly sure where to put this, it seems it would fit here and in the art help, so i'll play it safe and put this here.

Okay here's my problem, I'm trying to create some adoptables that can hatch from eggs and I read a pages that says how to do it, but I must not be doing it right,

It says to upload an egg onto a server like photo bucket or image shack but when I go to change the picture or re upload, the file link changes and the image becomes corrupted. How do I change the egg image to the next?

It might be easier to create your own website. There are some free hosts out there like freespaces.com and angelfire.com (although some places like angelfire prevent direct linking) where you can upload your images and change at your will without changing the address.
