ive recently written some chapters to a story, and i've posted a few up. I don't type it directly into the site, i choose the file that i wrote in microsoft word. sometimes, when i submitt a word document, the format of the writting goes out of place. appostrafies do no show, and sometimes no paragraphs are present. i tried saving my file as a web document, but that didn't help. I would like to know the best file type to save my word document as, so that when i upload it the setting out will be right. i would appreciate any help at all.

thanks! |

I'd say this is a bug within the internal conversions, or encoding perhaps.

I'm not 100% certain and do not currently have the time to check this kind of error out.

The apostrophes do sound like an encode problem, but there could very well be a bug in even the conversion from HTML to BBcode and back, ect.

Sorry for any inconvenience you have experienced, if you provide us with a copy of the file(s) that are giving you trouble, we may be able to track the bug down quicker and have a fix for it ready by the next release.

If you do give us a copy, you must actually send us the file, as pasting it here would re-encode it, possibly removing any traces we have on the bug. So if you will be so kind as to send the file to my email:

firefigure222@hotmail.com

I wont give out your address or any other personal information attached to your email, rest assured.

Sorry, again and thank you in advance. |

Thank you very much Sora121 for helping me out

I have recently discovered, that I can edit my badly-formated stories using the BBcode option, I can make apostrophes show and fix paragraph spacing. I still can not upload a word document, but from now on I will have to input my story chapters using the BBcode method. Thanks |
