I want "Your Profile had recieved a comment..."

Oh dear...I like the new update to Fanart Central; the only thing I don't like is how you get an email EACH for every comment that pops up on your inbox. It's annoying. I check all the recent comments on my profile at the same time; so just the "Your Profile had recieved a comment..." is good enough for me instead of..."[u]Inset username here has has commented.[/u]"

FAC doesn't know when you check your profile comments or read your email, so how would they know when to send you messages?

:O Of course they don't know when I check emails. Actually, I check them everyday, but what I'm saying is that there are too many emails that individually say who comments on your profile. This is just a site suggestion to turn it back to Your profile has received a comment; because my Gmail reverts it to one email and it's easier for me and it doesn't jampack our inboxes. :>

If you ask me, there should be a system similar to Deviant Arts, like on the main page you have your username at the top; then you have number of messages, then number of Deviations your fave artists have submitted. Make things easier, methinks.

I'm in agreement with Luckylace, only because I was so used to seeing all the emails stacked in my Gmail.
But I hardly ever get or send emails of any importance so it doesn't really matter to me.

Create folders and filters for auto sorting and sort them intheir own folders, that is what I do, works wonders.

Or you could just turn the notifications off entirely.

xD LOL! I don't think I would go as far as turn off the notifications completely! Of course, this is just personally opinion. Yeah, I'd like something like what Jedi said!

I understand that we're not trying to seem like we're copying off of Deviant Art, but something similar would be fine; because they simply did something more convient(sp) before we did. =__=

Battou: Ya, I know you can make seperate folders for certain subjects and all, but I'm not complaining about the email notifications I get, so... I don't mind them really, but it still would be helpful to have that come up on your user page, or in the top right hand corner on the front page would be nice... loads of other art sites have it. Storm Artists, the dreadful Sheezy Art...

luckylace222: Umm... other art sites have also copied DA, so don't worry about that. But yeah, don't turn off the notifications completely.
