Blondes and Redheads

Has anyone else noticed that in anime there are a lot of blonds and redheads that either work together, have some connection to each other, are paired together, or any combination of the three? It's a conspiracy!!!!!

These are just the ones I can come up with off the top of my head. I know there are several more examples, so feel free to add to my list.

(admittedly, I do have two characters who follow this trend, but the redhead was originally a brunet, until I realized his hair color didn't quite look right and finally matched him when I gave it a red tint)

No it's not. for some reason it's green in the anime, but in reality it's red.

In the anime, his hair is green. In the video game, his hair is blue. The only pictures of Matt with red hair are fanart.

I agree with you about alot of anime characters with blonde hair going with someone who has red hair.

In the official book of DN it says that Matt's hair is red, I do believe. It looks green in the anime because the only times we see him the lighting of the area is off a little (or its night) so it looks green not red.

I guess its because people like to put color into their characters. Imagine how boring an anime would be if everyone had brown and black hair. People will change the color of people's hair to catch the viewers eye. Colors are also different in characters eyes as well, some have purple eyes, some have blue eyes, some have red eyes, some have green. I think its because they want the attention of the viewer.
