I consider Certain band musicans -real- artists, do you?

I consider Tim McIlrath an artist. The lyrics are so different from other songs- I simply find it amazing.

Some verses just seem to hit me

"[i]can you hear the desperate cries that are calling out your name?
twisting your arms, holding out their hands
and tugging at your sleeve,
do you feel this underlying sense of urgency
or are you as blind as me?[/i]"

Then again, perhaps its just me? Whats your view?
