I heard about the new Fullmetal Alchemist anime series coming out in Japan, called "Brotherhood", and I decided to check it out.

Holy shit w[color=black]t[/color]f happened

The animation is VERYYYYYY different from the original anime. Like, some of it's good and bad. Ed's hair is outlined in yellow instead of black, Hughes' nose is too fucking big, and Roy Mustang looks retarded.

The first episode's storyline was pretty good. It's was ok like it had more intensity and more suspense. But the animation is really weird.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

They put up the second episode recently and I will watch it later to see if it's worth it.

New opening is bitchin', but yeah, Brotherhood has pretty meh animation.

Glad that they introduced Kimblee so soon, and I hope the manga finishes soon enough that they don't put the show on hiatus or do filler arcs.

Yeah, I watched the first 10 minutes of the first episode. I really like it so far, I'm kind of clueless for some parts though.

Is it me, or did Hughes not know who the Elrics were? In the first few episodes, they were introduced before Edward and Al made it to Central.

Either way, I'm following this. Smile

Heck, seeing Kimblee made it worth the watch so far!

I'll watch more when I can focus, whoo!

I agree with you about that. I found the Hughes part kinda odd.

Something about the way Ed and Roy look just irritates me. IDK why. Ed's hair looks kinda....pale.

In the first episode at 1:12, who is that person? Is that Ed? I have no idea who that is and I can't figure it out.

I'll probably watch the second episode tomorrow. I gtg to bed soon.

Hint: He is related to Ed, and he loves the person in the next transition. <3

In my copy, the only thing onscreen at 1:12 is Ed and Al in front of their burning house.

It's Ed's dad. He tells his story, and he starts out with when he was younger, thus the "unknown" looking guy you saw. A homunculus gave him his name.
