Look, the last time I was here was May5-7 09. My computer crashed on March 1st. So now when I get a chance I use a friend's/relative computer. These frakin ads can slow their computers up and if that happens I can't go on as often. And it pisses me off. Evil or Very Mad I would really appreciate it if they were takin down, because really, who clicks on them and is FAC really benefiting that much from it? I love FAC, but loathe the ads. I'll be the one in trouble if the computers don't work right and who knows when I'll see FAC again.

No ads = fac shuts down.

Something has to pay the hundreds of dollars a month the servers cost.

I don't get paid on clicks, I get paid on how many people view them.

Not all ads are created equal.

IMHO I think those KonaFilter ads (FAC still uses those, right?) are the most problematic, I have on one or two occasions myself received the Firefox warning about slow Javascript.
