Anyone who starts smoking in this day and age have to be pretty stupid, what, with all of our scientific research and over0whelming proof of its harmful effects. People who are already smoking are a different thing.

I seriously doubt they will ever be banned.

wat, why would cigarettes be hard to make?

They are native to US, so it grows here, whether tended or not.

People already make rollies, and only thing they need is dried tobaco flakes.

I'm guessing the fermentation process is for professionals, but so is fermentation of alcohol.

easy to grow, but then there are places far off in the country where tobacco is sold in giant bundles.
But if you can grow it you get it free.
I've been to one of those tobacco selling stores, and it's busy and smells bad.
So I don't think Smoking will be banned, but it's a good Idea.

Not that I care, but it's a part of air pollution.

You can't stop people from doing the things they love to do on a regular basis. They'll still find ways to smoke if it was banned.

Unless you can really change someone's mind with the right technique; I say let em do what they want. Cant exactly ban something that can easily get smuggled in etc.

And hey as long as they arent blowing smoke in your face I say dont complain ppls. Let em smoke themselves to an unhealthy lifestyle. It's better than what heroine addicts and drunks do to themselves when it comes to the big list of addictions.

I'm a dipper now, so this doesn't really effect me anyway, but even if I still smoked this wouldn't effect me, I've always been a menthol smoker with occasional stints of regular, unflavored cigarettes (usually reds). I'm all for banning the incredibly sweet tasting cigarettes, though I don't believe it will have any impact on kids/teens smoking. Kids starting smoking, generally, for one of three reasons: Peer pressure, because its "taboo" and therefor "cool", or because they were genuinely curious and enjoyed it. None of these will change with the ban of flavored cigarettes. After this, if I really crave a flavored cigarette thats not menthol, say one flavored clove or cherry, I'll simply go, buy some american spirit rolling tobacco and some flavoring of my desire, and produce my own.

I feel the same way about sweet/fruit flavored dips or other tobacco products, again so long as it does not effect my preferred straight, mint, or wintergreen flavors.

Also, people are correct, tobacco is easy as hell to grow, not difficult to dry cure, and plausible to smoke cure (at home). One can produce any variety of tobacco product they want from homegrown tobaccy, and it is, relatively speaking, healthier when compared to STORE BOUGHT tobacco.

I thought I said this already but

all of the brands selling flavored cigarettes simply changed their packaging, relabeled them "Cigarellos" and raised their prices.

The ban does nothing!

maybe if you wanted to use them to quit smoking, cause they're pretty dawgone expensive. cheapest I could find was 19.99 and then you've got to remember the nicotine refills.

But you only have to buy the cigarette once.

Anyway, most people use them for smoking inside.
