Sorry, but I can't help you.

You are receiving this error message exactly as it was intended: FAC cannot and will not validate any addresses from the email provider you listed in your contact information.

Which, for the record, is not a Yahoo address, or any other well-known email service for that matter.

Yes, I know, I first used Mailnator.com (which it never sent a validation letter to) and I finally set up a Yahoo! account. It won't send me a validation for Yahoo!, and it never sent me one at Mailinator in the first place. Before that I had a Hotmail account that it actually DID validate.

If it won't send to Mailinator, and refuses to send a letter to Yahoo!, what the h*** am I exposed to do?!

Sorry. Wasn't being clear. It never validated the Mailinator account, so now I'm trying to switch to Yahoo. Why can't I do this?

Refusing to validate Mailinator addresses is quite deliberate on our part, due to the fact that we have an e-mail based password retrieval system and that Mailinator allows any anonymous user to access any Mailinator address. What if somebody checks a Mailinator address and discovers there's an email containing the username/password to your FAC account?

Don't forget that in order to change your email address you must verify your account password. Out of curiosity are you receiving any error messages, or is the email change simply not processing?

This has the potential to be a bug, which would make it our fault and not yours.

EDIT: Hold on, I think I see something.

Aha! Bug confirmed and patched. Turns out the validation notice was getting sent to your current ("old") address instead of the new one.

(Serves ya right for using disposable email providers!

j/k )

Yeah, it's our fault, another big one.
