hockey and curling...right! Hockey may be the national sport but that don't mean it's played all the time.
and if you're talking about igloos, that's in the arctic.
and we club seals for food. yeah right that's why we like ketchup. LIES!

how about this? all americans play football 24hours and put mustard on their food.how does that feel people?

Or all americans are rednecks dont forget that one. We even have a rednecks olympics for those of you are about to open your mouths. Look it up on world's dumbest competitions on the tru.tv website.

I find if placed properly stereotypes are rather amusing.

However if wrongly placed they are harmful; or a person's way of insulting another when they cant find a good comeback. Such as: when a white person is argueing with a chinese person and calls them a chink. Or when arguing with a black person; nigga etc.

Lies, all lies!
1.) I've been to Canada. I am, right now, being in Canada.
2.) Canadians do play hockey and curling all the time. Actually they play these two sports simultaneously.
3.) The arctic circle is poorly named, for it is, in fact, not a circle. It's kinda weird in this hemisphere and dives down to the border between Canadia and the United States.
4.) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seal_hunting#Canada
5.) You don't like ketchup. You like to cover your food in gravy and cheese.
6.) Baseball.
7.) http://www.baconnaise.com/

4wikipedia is not always true and is usually all crap.
5I lOVE ketchup. I hate covering my food in gravey and only once in a while do I eat cheese.
6baseball- if your refering to the football thing, blame my sister.
7what the heck does bacon have to do with this?
8if you are in Canada, then where?

...You can't respond to a numbered list with a numbered list of your own if your numbers and my numbers do not correspond to the same topics.

...You're really bad at recognizing when someone's being serious and when someone's joking.

We cover everything in bacon, not mustard, but sometimes bacon and mustard (and ketchup and salt and cheese...). I saw "we" because I'm American, but I am currently in Montreal.

I refuse to give in on the points that all Canadians play hockey all the time and live in igloos though. I just heard our building janitor zoom by through the hallway on skates with a hockey stick and puck. The igloo I live in is very large and apartment shaped.

I live in a igloo, which is strangely bungalow-shaped.

very funny... the igloo thing. I can't tell if your kidding or if your serious, cause I don't live in an igloo.

Yes i'm bad at telling whether something is serious or not, especially if it's on the internet.

number list number list... whatever.

if you eat bacon then why does everybody tell me that Americans eat mustard? what the hell!?

all Canadians play Hockey... I don't. I hate hockey. I hate playing it, and I hate watching it. and I honestly don't care wheather the maple leafs win or not.

This is a very stupid argument.

When I was in Grade 8, the class somehow ended up singing the ABC

I was the only one who ended the song with "zee" instad of "zed"

This girl I had a crush on told me to get the fuck out.

True Story.

Zed sounds so odd. It just doesn't rhyme. I don't hear it very much anymore since I'm no longer taking any math/physics classes.

I see a lot more Quebec flags than Canadian flags here. Oddly, I see even more Canadiens flags than Quebec flags.

...if you truly cannot tell if I'm lying about the igloo thing, then you make me very sad indeed.

My impression of Western Canada is a bunch of people listening to Sam Roberts and smoking pot.

Am I right y/n?

Why assume that I'm talking to you? I'm talking to London. He is a 32-year old black man who loves BDSM and tuna sandwiches.

A little introduction since you are obviously new to the forums.
