Transparent/Animation Issues

The picture is transparent because the thumbnail has a transparent BG but when you go to view the picture, the BG is white.

And I think this is supposed to be animated because its filetype is a .gif, and it contains some animation effects from www.lunapic.com

The background _is_ transparent.

Are you using IE? The picture is in PNG format, which IE as trouble with.

Not all gifs are animated.

It's not transparent; I see a white background and I am using Firefox because IE slows down my computer when I use it so I always use Firefox.

Duh I already knew that from 11 years ago, I was wondering if it was supposed to be animated or not or if the site is being glitchy.

Maybe it is a bug or something, or maybe something you need to do in your profile options I don't know. Or maybe it is me, I probably did something.

Definitely a bug. Partly because the resize/thumbnail process returns JPEG images and not PNG or GIF and therefore it must by definition assume a particular background color.

The reason why this doesn't occur on thumbnails is because normal thumbnails include a drop-shadow effect whereas the resized versions do not, and for some reason this [i]does[/i] make a difference to the thumbnail engine.

Ok I clicked View Full-Sized Image and it's now transparent but it didn't show that previously in the resized version.
