Aha, found it. The comment you were replying got deleted (hidden from view) before you hit the "Reply" button. When a comment is removed from a picture, it is actually shifted into a separate internal table for performance reasons, and it is no longer possible to reply to that comment.

Okay then. If you click the "Delete" button on a comment, replying to it is no longer an option.

They are advertising links....Denis removed them from the zellers skin because they did not work and did not look well on the site but their removal from silver skin got overlooked....

The script responsible for adding those links in the first place can also cause serious browser lag with some users.
