It's already been decided that the cat is the primary mascot. Suddenly changing mascots in a bad course of action especially after as many years the mascot has been inplace.

We already are considering it and are leaning very strongly towards doing just that. Denis has been tinkering with a standardised rotation of logos using reiderations of the V-2.0 mascot design, We know it can be done, We just need the content to fill out a rotation with the V-3.0 mascot.

And I think you're disrespecting the users' intelligence a little bit. We're not all going to get scared and confused if there is suddenly a human on our logo.

It's okay, you can say that your FAC girl is part cat, not part pherel! Sora supported a neko or animal hybrid human for Sam, so your idea still works. ;O

]; We can keep both Sam AND the cat. Honestly, one without the other would seem a little lonely to me. The cat we have now is dull, so let's have Sam back. However, if we have only Sam, people would wonder where the cat went. Them together would be best.

I'd secretly like to see a completely new mascot. The cat is just dull and reminds me of dA's Fella and Sam is just a generic anime girl.

The stick base for the canvas is a little strange and I don't like that 3D font. However, I do love the adorable brush and pose. ;] I love Disney style animals.

The piece needs shading or some form of dept though.

I think the cat is abit too chubby though, people might make cracks at the pheral getting depressed at others mocking him so he turned to food as a comfort. o3o

Though loving the font and yeah the easel needs stronger looking legs.

The HF logo works because she's lying down. These designs are all too large, or have too much detail so that when you shrink them down to an acceptable size, it'll be lost.

A ferret as a mascot would work since ferrets have naturally long bodies and would work easier.

Yes, a long wide picture ratio is much more practical for the logo in the header.

CUUUURRRRRRSEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSs -horizontal pose. That picture I drew took me WAY to long and it's in a vertical pose.

Other than my picture being vertical, do you have any criticism for it? I want to know if met the criteria to be up for the logo. OR was it too detailed?

I was wondering about this. If we want the mascots to be "feature-quality," what is the point if the details would look pixelated and almost unnoticeable when you resize it? Either we can make a very solid, simple but engaging looking character, or we make a detailed version that'll look strange when strinked down. Confused

Feature quality work doesn't need to be loaded with details. It should be neat, interesting, and stuff should be the right shape.

Yeah I know, I was hurrying and trying to get it done before I left for work. there are a lot of corrections I need to make. one of them is the paint brush head...it's supposed to be black.
