Still, you must understand that hiding one's real IP address is the same reason why trolls love to use proxy servers, because their previous IP address was blocked and the only way they can create a new account is to get a new IP address. Proxies make it easy.

... and so, when it looks pretty sure that a new account is just another sockpuppet of a previous troll, it's not only "ban on sight" time but we also block the whole proxy.

His newest account shares one of your IP addresses, meaning that if we are looking at two different people here then you are using the same access point or proxy server as each other.

Which means that we now have to block the proxy for a duration of "indefinitely".

By the way, when it comes to IP addresses, phpBB allows forum admins to click a button on each post to see its IP address and whether or not that address is shared:

As you can see here, you have only participated from two IP addresses, but one of them has also been recently trolled.

The troll in question isn't particularly bright, every time he creates a new sockpuppet account it is strictly to say "I'M BACK, JERKS!" and nothing gets a user from zero to ban quite like claiming to have previously banned accounts.

LD, no one will hack you here, from what I can tell. I don't think you need to be worried. Well, you MIGHT want internet security with all the ads that FAC has to run to keep itself up, but other than that, use your home IP.
