Why can't I see my gallery pictures?.

I submitted them ysterday, how long does it take for pictures to load here?.

I try to get to the AP at least once a day. (Sometimes it's a few days in between), but I just cleared it out now and I didn't see any of your pictures in there. (Neither are pending too.) Are you sure you submitted them?

Yes I did and a wrote a long "blurb" next to my picture. Are you saying my picture is lost?.

I'm not sure lost is the right term, because it appears as if you didn't submit it at all. (It's not in your pending, rejections, deletions, anything.) So it's either you didn't completely submit it, or there the small chance there's a bug that caused it to not show. (Although I'm thinking it's just the former. But I don't know anything about forum bugs, so...)

That disappoints me that what I wrote is lost, I will go ahead and try and submit again.Without wasting my time on a long detailed desc this time.
I have submitted the picture several times now and would like to know in private why it's obviously being blocked or deleted. Thanks.
I even took the time to submit in 3 different browesrs to check if it was incompatibility issues.

Do you get a confirmation message after submitting the piece? If you'd like to try again, please screenshot or copy/paste the message that appears.

I've perused all submission IDs within the past 48 hours and found absolutely no trace of any submissions by you as of yet. Sad

I fill in the info and then press submit > Then eventually the info is gone and if I press submit again, it says you haven't filled in blah and it wants me to redo the whole thing.

"Eventually", as in 30 or 60 seconds later? I'm suspecting a PHP timeout during the submission processing, which means the image was never actually recorded in the database and that would explain everything.

What kind of image are you trying to upload? Dimensions, filetype, filesize.

If you try to submit it again, don't attempt to cancel the page loading and resubmit. Simply wait for it to finish (however long, sorry) and when it stops [i]on its own[/i] let us know what you see.

Word of warning: You won't be able to browse FAC mainsite while it's processing the submission, so be sure to have something else to occupy the time with.

In theory, the session lock shouldn't start until the upload completes so browsing during upload SHOULD work.

I'm no longer in any hurry as I've now posted my images on Deviantart, good luck figuring how the issues of why some people are blocked etc.

As a site developer I can confirm that if you were for some reason "blocked" from submitting content you would receive an immediate, clear and concise error message stating exactly that. But since you haven't received any error messages, this means that it isn't even the problem, and if you want to see us figure it out and fix it, we need [i]your help.[/i]

Believe me, if we could witness this problem happening to ourselves we'd give it our full attention and it'd be fixed in record time.

If you would like to try submitting again, follow the steps I outlined in my last post (they're simple, but need to be followed precisely) and tell us how it ends.

In the meantime . . . can you give us a URL to the dA version? Is it the exact same file(s) you were having problems submitting here?
