Eh too kiddy-ish to me. It's like they are poking fun at it. Then again Lego is trying to get its hands on anything in the movies nowadays. Star wars, indiana jones, toy story 3, etc. Make real toys like the action figures. Unless the games already produced some.

But hey that's my opinion, and I find it insulting that PoP let lego get ahold of it. I mean they got toy story 3, they should be happy enough, plus they made alot off of the indiana jones lego games.

just wanted to say i own DMC1-3 , i own Viewtiful Joe , and ninja gaiden sigma
and i don't hate any of these games actually love all of them and i loved God Hand when it came out. i have GOW3 and played the hell out of bayanetta.

i thought that dantes inferno was a great rental game for over the weekend
yeah i was not gonna buy it but it was fun for what it was. plus i think it was more aimed at 360 owner who never played a GOW game so to them, i imagine it would not seem so stale or a rip off.

My problem with Dante's Inferno is that they didn't try anything even remotely new, or interesting, and it made for an incredibly stale game.

I kinda forced myself to finish it, just because I assumed fighting Lucifer would be some crazy shit.

Not really. Spam Sins of the Father a bit, and he can't do shit.

Speaking of, jesus, Dante's Inferno had some of the most unmemorable, hamhanded boss fights ever

I only wanted to play Dante's Inferno because I liked their commercial. I still haven't tried it, which shows how much interest I actually have in the game.

Link to the commercial I mentioned.

well i think they were using the if it aint broke dont fix it methodology while making it.
but i really think they were hoping to get the 360 audience with it.
yeah they did not try to do any new but i think that was mostly by design
cause of the audience they were aiming for.

like i said i thought it was an good game to rent over the weekend, play and beat it then bring it back. i like it for what it was, but i also like GOW gameplay style.

the 2P Co-Op in the new DLC looks pretty sweet to me though.

Just came off as lazy, and uninspired to me.

Honestly, I greatly, greatly fear for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, just because it looks like the same kinda shit of nothing new, and style over substance.

I'd love to be proven wrong, but given 3d Castlevania's history... I'm gonna be proven right ;_;

Kojima's doing next to nothing. He basically gives minor input, and throws his studios name on it.

Voice acting, visuals, ect look abap, but everything we've seen of gameplay looks pretty weak(1:43) , and Mercury Stream has yet to make anything legitimately good.

3d castlevania games suck.
i dont see that changing anytime soon.
idk it looks promising. especially with hideo kojima working on it
jus one problem Kojima doesnt make games he makes cut scenes that ever once in a while you get to control.

if they want to make a good castlevania the first thing they need to do is license it out and have a non japanese dev team work on it.

or just make another SOTN style 2d one. i wish they would just make SOTN 2 for 360 or PS3

If it aint broken, dont fix it. My opinion, let SOTN be, it's awsome on it's own.

Kojima made ZOE2, your point is irrelevant.

That's exactly what they are doing. Shit looks pretty awful

You mean like Aria of Sorrow, Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia? Y'know, what they've been doing for the last half of a decade?

Harmony of Despair, look it up

thats what i mean make a 2D sequel to SOTN but using all the bells and whistles that they could do on next gen.

Castlevania is a 2D series if they really wanna do a 3D one then they really take the time to evaluate what kind of game they wanna make and realize that if they wanna make it good its gonna have to be completely different from the 2D ones.

I liked Order of Ecclesia. Aria of Sorrow was pretty good, too. I need to play more Castlevania games. Luckily, I have friends to mooch off of--- I mean borrow games from.

I'd go play SOTN again, or one of the other castlevania's but my brother doesnt lend his games out. XX
He's keeping SOTN nice and safe since he plans on selling it in the future, along with his other super rare games. I cant even get Parasite eve away from him! Not an amazing game but I still like it damn.
