I'm trying to figure out what the emblems for the temples in Final Fantasy X are.

They're the little calligraphic symbols (example, in background) you can find in or around each of the temples. Such as:
- Besaid Temple emblem: In the cloister of trials, put the Besaid Sphere into the wall recess nearest the entrance, and the temple symbol will appear glowing on the wall. You can also spot this symbol on the back wall of Valefor's fayth chamber.
- Kilika Temple emblem: It's the large emblem on the elevator leading to the Cloister of Trials. It's also shown on the back wall in Ifrit's fayth chamber, and visible as a pattern in the stone grounds outside the temple (where you fought the Genai boss).
- Djose Temple emblem: In the cloister of trials, you can see the symbol shining on the door behind the large Yevon emblem on the floor. You can also spot it on the back wall of Ixion's fayth chamber.
- Macalania Temple: You can see the symbol on the back wall of Shiva's fayth chamber.
- Baaj Temple: You can see the symbol on the back wall of Anima's fayth chamber.

But . . . what is the symbol for Bevelle temple? You're in the Bevelle Temple only once in Final Fantasy X, you can't go back there if you tried. And you can't go back in FFX-2 and look for it either because FFX-2 uses the same scene for all of the fayth chambers (you see the Besaid Temple emblem, not the emblem for the particular temple you're in).

Alternatively, there are the intricate, circular symbols for each temple that you can find in Baaj Temple, as well as around the elevator in Zanarkand that led to Yunalesca. But those aren't the symbols I'm looking for.

Any ideas on what the symbol is and where I can find it? I want the calligraphic emblem for Bevelle Temple, because it's for one of the drawings I'll be making.

Based on close observation of certain specific places in FFX, I think I've found the symbol for Bevelle Temple. Attached are my results. The right half shows the various temple emblems sketched out based upon where they were found. Strangely, Bahamut's fayth chamber actually does have the symbol for Besaid temple in it, rather than the Bevelle temple symbol. That made the search a little tougher.

However, I also forgot that I have many save games (ten in all) from various moments of the game, including before the raid on Bevelle and before Zanarkand's cloister of trials. I played through the Bevelle temple and noticed the fancy symbol appearing whenever you pushed the pedestal into the corridors to move around (bottom of attachment, which I traced using some transparency paper).

Then, playing through Zanarkand, during the trials I found some convincing evidence on what the symbol is. When you push the pedestals into the wall, they briefly display the calligraphic emblem for one of the six temples. After piecing together the shapes in the large room, the fancy (non-calligraphic) emblem for that temple shows up on one of the elevator's pads -- Bevelle, Baaj, Besaid, Djose, Kilika, and Macalania.

So apparently the "three-headed" emblem is the one for Bevelle after all... now I can complete one of my latest sketches with it.
