how did you come across FAC

I remember when I was in 5th, or 6th grade searching for Yu Yu Hakusho stuff. Then I came across some fan fictions here.
They were really funny. In the beginning of my 7th grade year I decided to join.

I was looking for an art website that didn't have a lot of good artist (cause I was really bad lol) cause deviantart just made me feel like my drawings were garbage cause everyone elses were so much better.


So I joined. About a year or so later I decided to join the forums.

I was looking for a place to put my drawings up. I googled "online art gallery" and weirdly, FAC was above dA or any other art site (I don't know how)

I stuck with FAC only, for a couple years before I decided to join dA and Art is Murder. Funny, if any other art site would have been above FAC in the search results, I probably would have never heard of this place.

I was like 14 or 15 and back then I was really into Fullmetal Alchemist yaoi and I did a google search for pictures and I happened to find FAC and I was like "hey think I'll join". I wanted to join deviantArt but that was back when I had AOL dial-up internet and deviantArt would take so long to load so I stuck with FAC.

Of course that was back when it had the blue-and-white layout, the picture rating system was like "G", "PG-13"; and back when FAC allowed porn.

My art sucked back then, I did my art with a mouse and MS Paint, then used a cheap program called PhotoStudio 2000 to color it.

I was looking for places to submit art. I didn't want the huge community of deviantart (not to mention it is blocked at my school), so I found this.

I cannot......remember!

I can only assume that I goggled(it [i]all[/i] starts with Google) some anime art, and a FAC link popped up. I had never heard of Deviant Art, SheezyArt, or those other art sties at that time, so what I found first, I vowed to stay with it.

[color=purple]I joined this site on November 3rd, 2007. I joined here so I could see my friends art and stories. But this was back when I sucked so much...my art sucked. I typed in purple text. I spoke like a dumbass half the time....jesus just ask true dachshund and SonicnTails. They know my horrible past.

I joined the last day of June in 2008 because my best friend was on here and I had pretty much just started getting serious about drawing. Poppixie101 was my friend and now I get on more than her. Not too much later, I came across the forums link at the top of the page and began RPing, but back then I was only a RP beginner with no experience who tended to use god-like characters.

I joined through the forum my friend made called "Simple and Clean" and one of the users was showing her Bankotsu and Hiei sketches from FAC links. I checked the place out and found it quite satisfying. And like with dash I had dial up so I decided to join up here instead of DA.

pretty much the same here, if i would have joined one of those other sites first i probably would never even heard of FAC.
