Okay, I'm launching my sites next month and I need to find two things:
A good, free, adjustable guestbook and forum.
(I don't need the forum for QUITE some time though, just thought I'd ask now instead of making yet another topic a couple months from now)
If anyone has any suggestions I'd be really thankful ^^ |

Never cared much for guest books, but some good free forums are Invision (What FAC uses, but no longer free as far as I can tell) and PHP BB. Discus is a choice for a different style of forum. and vbulletin is a very popular paid choice. _________________ You will obey or molten silver will be poured into your ears. |

awesome ^^
So PHP BB is free? I've seen that one a lot.
I've never seen Discus so I'll have to check that out and see if I like that one better. |

I can tell what forum to avoid avid gamers. They are the worst. My longest running forum RP was hosted there.. I tell it was a nightmare... *shudders* but yeah invision is good ^^ Yabbers is good too (basically invision by a different name) _________________

There are lots of script databases to look through. If that one isn't good enough, take a in http://www.hotscripts.com and other such sites. _________________ You will obey or molten silver will be poured into your ears. |
