Worst video game you've played?

i come to the conclusion that the IDEA of star war is actually a lot better than most of the games or movies that comprise it. the concept and ideas behind star wars are pretty sweet. the problem is most of the people doing the games just are not very good storytellers or game makers for that matter.

if lucas arts wants to make a good star wars game i think they should have Ninja Theory make a star wars game, Ninja Theory seems like one of the only developers that i think could do good story telling and good gameplay that a star wars game needs.

(Ninja Theory did heavenly sword and enslaved:odyssey to the west, both were great games that mixed great storytelling and good gameplay. ninja theory is currently working on the new devil may cry game, which i am really excited for.)

Or even more weird, how about Square Soft (Final Fantasy) making a SW game?

Another game I didn't like was Sonic Heroes. Too cute.

The worst game I played probably has to be Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on the PS2. I played it about 10 minutes until I got bored with it.

I honestly thought most of the Harry Potter games were poorly made anyway. I never really figure how you could actually make a game out of a book series with a set story-line.

I guess if you made it into an RPG were you made your own character? But, I'm still not feeling it. :/

well i not sure if it was the worst game i ever played the new X-Men Destiny game was pretty bad. i rented it for a week and then i returned it the next day. Seriously how hard should it be to make an X-Men game, this is one property that would seem to lend itself well to video games.

...plus its an X-Men game that you don't get to be any of the X-men...that just unacceptable in my book.

I played only the first HP game and the quidditch based one.

HP one was okie...but the ending battle with the dark arts teacher with voldemort on the back of his head...disturbed me. No it wasnt that it was scarey or anything. It was the [i]point of view [/i]they put the fight in. Looked like Harry was getting friggin raped worse than the manniquins by Pyamid head in silent hill! X___x

Thanks to this lil fight...it put me off ever falling for the temptation that is yaoi. No seriously whenever I see yaoi I think of that scene and start hyperventilating and curling up into a fetal postion. xD

So yeah...guess I can thank Harry on that one. -shot!-

The quidditch one however...eh failed in my opinion...too cheesy and the dialogue and scenes were overplayed farrrr too much. The graphics were excellent for that time...but you cant base a game off just graphics ya know. xP

Yup the games should stay books and movies...well the last two though..they kinda looked badass. o3o (and I AM a sucker for Dementors...hehe sucker, dementor get it? -shot again!- )

I'm not trying to bash Harry Potter. I mean, I saw like three of the movies. Like Luckylace said, Harry Potter should stick to books and movies.

Anyway, another bad game I remember is Kirby Tilt and Tumble. So much neck pain! Mad
