[]We made a 16 page announcement on the new pheral/logo design. Where is the update? Have we decided on a design or not?
(Hows about we just use the current forum logo made by Gety and transfer it, unless there are complications that have yet to be proclaimed)

[]My request for a "How to Train Your Dragon" category was asked on October 31, 2010. There are 25+ pictures for it. Where is that?

I am officially back for the Summer, and the forums, despite there being more security on offenders and less trouble, is a little assertive than I remembered. I really hope we are not going to say, "The trolls were what made the forums interesting." Lets express some opinions here and there; the forums are for spreading ideas!

I feel the asking-forum-access-permission-from-administrators should be lifted a little bit for now. It sure looks like things that died down. Maybe too much. New users are coming, and they probably do not even know much about the forums(I sure did not until my 3rd Summer here), so they will not ask for permission to access it if they find a blocked page when they press on it.

Er, someone give me an update! I would like some explanation on what is going on around FAC! ;U

1. The person who started that project (Battou I think) seems to have lost interest.

2. Strata usually does category requests, not sure why this particular one didn't get done.

3. Most seem to have lost interest in the site or are busy with IRL.

I know we've lost a few good members with the troll pruning, and the place seems a little dead now. But I personally feel it's a good opportunity to begin rebuilding the forums with new members.

To be completely honest, I like that the forums are really empty, feels like this place has been cleansed. We can make a site news post about the forums, and welcome people in.

1. I can try at a new Pheral design (for real this time) if the admins ask. That's no problem.

2. Category requests are Strata's job.

3. I lost interest in the site, but I'm getting the interest back little by little. A new logo and more forum members would really be great.

FAC has always had trolls, back when we had 30 or so frequent forum members, trolls were manageable. But with this last batch of trolls, we only had a few members here, and most of them were loyal to the trolls. So it's really no problem to me that they leave along with those trolls. Some of my friends that were good members didn't want to come back to FAC because of the assholes that were here. Now that they're gone, this place is much more welcoming and has a better chance.

yeah i pretty much how i feel bout these forums right now. while it seems a little sparse right now,
i think it should be looked at as a chance to build a better community here with new people.
yeah its slower here now but at least not every topic is swarmed by trolls to the point of futility.

We could work on a new look for the avatar too. It's kinda getting abit stale alongside the mainsite Pheral, no offense though. xP

I could lend a hand at making a Pheral avi for the default icon, though I make no promises on a set date...for I get random ideas and nasty art block from time to time. Trust me when I say I can be a legacy of Kain nut one second, and then the next im shouting Kamehameha! while blasting someone into oblivion on my DBZBT game. xP

However others should pitch in with the Pheral default icon design too if Denis desires a new look for it.
