That and the upload of chapters from a file seems to have some bugs in it.
If you were more specific maybe I could actually do somthing to help you <_<

As for the chapter editing in general, its a new feature.

You edit chapters by re-uploading them. This will make formatting work easier and will help force people to do their actual writing in somthing with a spell checker.

If you origionally write it in a box and need to edit it, copy the story from its display page into some program. Edit it. Save it as a file, and upload it.

Just like with picture uploads, always save the file using a standard file format.

Personally I would recommend writing your stories in HTML. Here's all you need to know about it:
Use P tags to start and end each paragraph, like this.

Centered text

Bold text
Italic text
Underlined text

(horizontal divider)
HTML documents should be saved as plain-text format with the filename ending in ".html" in either Notepad or Wordpad, although I recommend WordPad. WordPad doesn't have a spell-checker though, meaning that you'll have to do all the proofreading yourself.

I'll look into adding support for star office and unicode.

But just exporting from star office as something like RTF should work fine. Support at the moment for UNICODE is questionable at best.
