Some easy troubleshooting steps can often solve the problem. On a network, a printer can be connected to either Ethernet (or Wi-Fi), or it can be connected to a computer directly over the network via USB. There is an Add Printer Wizard in the Devices and Printers section in Control Panel in Windows.
