why did I have to revalidate my email on here makes no sense to me

if a computer and keyboard had a punctuation semi-colon cleaning would it be a semi-colonoscopy

I have not been informed of anything specific, but it certainly explains why the forum software was refusing my login.

E-mail validation is something that needs to be clearly visible somewhere (it is currently only checked when you use the "Submit" link)....

Unfortunately that is not new, modern Internet browsers are just more aware of whether you are connecting to a site via secure encryption (https: instead of http: ), as the Internet today is not what it was then.
