Perhaps some of you already know but Sean Piche known under the alias of Dragoneer and owner of the site Fur Affinity(or Furaffinity), passed away at the age of 44.

I wonder what'll became of that website? |

I've never met the guy myself, but I definitely understand the "end of an era" feeling when the owner/operator of a site goes away. (In my experience, I've actually been on two sites where the owner of a site disappeared -- not died, just left without explanation.)

At least they have a team to operate the site in the interim, and a community willing to help pitch in. Judging by their GoFundMe updates, it seems like whatever happened, it deteriorated rather quickly. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

I remember reading about Dragoneer's passing last year. It was a big shock for the community. It's been a few months now — it looks like Fur Affinity is still running, but I wonder who officially manages the site now. Has anything changed behind the scenes?

It would be very cool to know about it, i know a few very good websites which disappeared to like dinosaur-universe.com which was a wonderful website about dinosaurs or aztec-spirit.com which was about aztec clothing for example.

Fortunately, some very good new websites just appeared to replace them and that the kids love too : https://the-montessori-shop.com/ that you will love too |
