When you check the forum and see new posts thinking there will be actual discussion but it's just some bots... anyway to the real people still here, how are you today?

Glad you're well! I hope you get some sunny weather soon. It's been excessively hot where I live, and we're supposed to get thunderstorms later... I hate thunder.

Very true, that would be a pain to drive in, although I tolerate snow more than thunder xD

Unfortunate, yes, but also nothing new. Due to the age (and thus, simplicity) of this site (it still runs on manually written code, not high-level web publishing tools) we don't have many tools for combatting scripted bots.

What you don't see is a hidden forum where we've been generally archiving such posts/topics immediately upon discovery (and, of course, terminating said accounts).

That's good you take care of them, although it sounds annoying to have to do that. Bots suck
