is anyone else totally anxious about hearing some onfo about the release date on this? i hear it was put off in 04 because they were maming it longer and ive seen all the previews on the site and have a vague idea what its about, but the release date remains indefinte!! i really wish they would give us a ballpark time.

well... i can "hardly wait." the first time they made a final fantasy movie it sucked. sure it was cged well, but that's all they got right. i suppose with this new ff7 theme it'll maybe nail the plot element.

then again, by the looks of how it's shaping up, it'll only appeal to the audience who have played ff7. perhaps even confuse them. i really don't think they should have gone with a ff7 theme. sure cloud was totally badass and all, but how are they going to match a villian such as sepiroth? they can't.

well supposedly by the creation of what seems to be his brothers or his children. cuz the three kids with silver hair in this one seem to be related to jenovah. and sephiroth will be making appearences. and because it will only appeal to people of they played the game is why they chose ff7 because it was its highest selling game. it wouldve been near impossible for them to create a whole other story in such a short span of time. (movie length) which is why i think spirits within suuuucked. they tried to go too mainstream and the storyline was nothing close to the genius plots of their games.
