If you just mean here (the ones to the left of the post box) then its just something wrong with your web browsers javascript support (which ways to fix is more long complex han I care to type out here right now) but you can just type them in manually. If you hold your moue over them, you can see what you need to type in, the part in quotes.

I think I get what he's trying to say.

#1 - HTML does not work on FAC user profiles. Use bb code instead.

#2 - Forum smileys don't work on FAC user profiles -- that is, [b]:[/b][b])[/b] and the like are not automatically converted to "[img]http://www.fanart-central.net/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif[/img]". You can, however, copy the smiley's image URL and put it in your FAC profile with an [img] tag.

#3 - Quiz results don't belong on FAC user profiles, so don't put them there
