Newbie Section

You mean like a "Newbie Forum" or something? If so, we'd better put it near the top (like between Site Discussion and Testing) of the main forum list, [i]otherwise most newbies won't even see it.[/i]

And yes, there could also be a tab (bottom row, preferably) on the FAC main site leading directly to it, similar to how we have a tab on the main site that leads to the FAQ thread.

ah, your right. i was kinda afraid at first to post. i bet some other newbies feel the same. They need a place to get popular... used to the forums. good idea

...and they'd need to [b]know[/b], to [b]see[/b] that there's a place to get to know people and get used to how the forums work. That's the big issue right there. It's not that we don't have such a place already, it's that too [b]many newbies don't know how to find it[/b].

Oh, and Uriko, FYI, your sig image is a bit too tall/large. Can you find a smaller one?
