Logging In?

Ok, I really want my acount to work properly. I've trying logging in many times on the main site, it just returns me to the main site and I'm not logged in. I [b]can[/b] log into the forums.

I've gone as far as to send the email to cancel the account so I can try again with a new (and so I can have the same username). But I sent the cancelation email yesterday, but nothing has happened (as I can still log in).

Please help. I've try [i]everything[/i] (I think)

Again, please help!

uh...you're supposed to return to the main pg after you log in... and are you sure you're not logged in? If you look at the bottom of the main pg, you should see the names of all the people on fanart. Your name should be in bold. If you still can't find it, then I'm out of ideas..

oh yeah, the cancelation email will probably take a while to get to Cstdenis. He is probably very busy with all the other stuff he has to do to maintain this site. Don't worry, he'll probably get it eventually.

If you want to cancel your FAC account, you generally have to first take all your pictures and stories down yourself.

The forums and main page are separate login sessions, but I doubt it's a problem with your account specifically. We've known about the log-in issues for a long time -- the only reason why it still happens (I've encountered it once myself) is because we don't know exactly what causes it to happen in the first place.

Follow the suggestions in the FAQ if you haven't already. Oh, I'm also curious, what is your Internet browser and operating system?

I'm having the same problem logging in to FAC. I've tried everything they said to do in the FAQ, but I still can't log on! I haven't been able to update my account for months! T_T If you think it will help figure out why this is happening, I'd be happy to tell you my internet browser and operating system, Stratadrake. ^_^ I use Internet Explorer and my operating system is Windows xp. My account finally works! I have no idea what the problem was, but my account finally started working (fully) after 4-5 months. Something else that was odd, it started to work after I'd posted 100 times. That's odd, right?
