In general, it's not allowed, because:

- It usually has NO relevance to the topic at hand
- "/me" talk is more appropriate for online chat / IM. On a forum, nobody expects you to tell them when you're leaving or coming back, why you were gone for 24 hours, or so on.

FAC does not tolerate violence.

We at FAC are a peaceful community, we live in harmony with one another and appreciate the finer qualities in life. It is one of the guidelines FAC offers, for a happier, and more enjoyable visit to the Fanart Central we have come to grow on to.

but i do agree there. i think the warnings are a bit prolonged there
my personal opinion: 4 warnings = permanent ban. *shrugs*

We did cut back the warnings. Other than in spamming cases.

Yeah, it can depend on the type and extent of the offense. As well as other factors, like how long it's been since their last warning(s) .

The warnings system should be enabled. If this version of Invision has it.

I've proposed that idea before (and I think this version of Invision does offer the feature).

It was turned down on the reasoning that it doesn't discern between differing [i]types[/i] of offenses (spamming, harassment/flames, etc.) .

I still think it's a good idea though -- at the least, it'll provide an easier way to track official warnings given.
