I love all the old cartoons that I used to watch way back--among them are "Space Goofs", "My Little Pony", and so forth. Space Goofs had a wonderfully sick and twisted sense of humor, while My Little Pony, although it's quite fluffy at times, has a hidden dark side to it that I can't resist.
I also enjoy intelligent children's shows like Cyberchase and PowerPuff Girls. |

lol i remember brace face! gah alicia silverstone's voice is really annoying but sharon's friends were cool.
yea i really want nicktoons but it's only for cablevision digital cable. and i have comcast. o well. and i think the ren and stimpy on spike tv is different from the original. they're more "adult" or something. and i'm getting the zim dvds, too, amy! can't say when, but i will!
o i remember my little pony! it had a dark side? lol i only remember the fluffiness. o i feel more intelligent now that i used to watch a show with hidden darkness...
and hurray for adult swim! oblongs, athf, sealab 2021, harvey birdman, home movies- it's all great! i really miss mission hill, tho. i loved that show! _________________ i fought the war, but the war won |

Got Volume 1 over the weekend. ^_^ Can't wait to get a chance to watch it. Think it's got the pilot episode.
My second favorite animated show ever was Reboot. I think I mentioned that in the "old school tv" thread. Computer animated. Really great plot. Just plain awesome show. _________________ |

Heehee, I didn't notice the darker side as well, until I bought some of the tapes and rewatched them. Some of the episodes involve misery and horribly corrupted places--"Return of Tambelon" and "Firefly's Adventure (aka Resue from Midnight Castle)" were two episodes that highlight this the greatest. The other eps are so-so, although "The Ghost of Paradise Estate" episode was quite a bit of peril in itself. |
