Yeah, it can be a little hard to find sometimes... the idea of an entire section for newbies (i.e. a "Newbie Forum") is currently under discussion so that you can have a place to get to know the ropes on how these forums are structured, what sorts of etiquette we expect, etc. etc. etc. all that stuff.
