I heard it mentioned in concern of the recent bug in the database, when all the posts, pics, etc were lost. Denis told Strata to check his cache if his post were still there...what's a cache? |

A "cache", in the general definition, is a memory area that stores data for quick reference, usually data that would take a lot of time or processes to retrieve otherwise.
