I'm in the dark. Can you give some more detail? Like...
- The exact steps you performed
- Exact text of any error messages you received, or if there were no errors at all

Okay, I think I have an idea what your problem might be...

Remember, the first step is to save each chapter as a separate file (preferably in HTML / "Web Page" format).

Then, to update, change, or replace an [i]existing[/i] chapter, first go to that chapter, then near the bottom of the page you'll find a link called "edit this chapter". Click it, then upload the new chapter file to replace it with.
