Denis already said there's a problem with fanfiction uploads right now. Don't you read the front page?

This problem happens most often with Word-format chapters/stories. (Sometimes, I wish that it wasn't supported, then we shouldn't be seeing so much of all this)

Anyway, to work around the problem, please convert your stories/chapters to HTML ("Web Page") format before uploading.

wait...hold on a sec.
you have a problem with uploading stories so do i
how can you convert to html???

Don't you even know how to operate that word processor of yours? On the Save As dialog box, open up the "Save as type" dropdown list to see all the formats you can convert the file to.

Seriously, stuff like that is part of your basic computer literacy, you NEED to know it . . . .
