Hmm, I've been thinking about making a comic, and so far I have one page. The problem is the size. I'm afraid the lettres aren't so readably in 600 pix. Can you guys read it? Should I use bigger lettres as a tradeoff and lose room for the actual picture? |

Ah okay, good. I really just want a second opinion to avoid comments like 'what does this and that say?'
Maybe this topic should be moved to an other thread btw |

It's readable, yup. And it's very interesting too. |

Denis is working on a new solution to the size issues (a DA type system). _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

That looks pretty cool so far. The text is legible, though you might want to do something with it. No offence, but it looks a tad sloppy. The comic artists that I've had the privaledge to talk to throughout my life usually suggest that lettering be done in captials as much as possible. You also might want to rule out some straight lines in pencil to write on first, the words get kind of lopsided in a couple of panels.
It's a good story with really good art so far. Again, don't take this the wrong way, but it seems a little stark, like it needs more fills or shading or cross-hatching or something.... bah, forget that, don't listen to me. I read too many dark comics like The Crow, Batman, and GloomCookie, I'm a black ink addict.
So when do we get to see more?

Well most of the things you pointed out are a result of spending very little time on it. I'll do try to write a better, but the shading.. probably not going to happen. It's still a fun project for me, so I'm not going to spend too much time per page. I'll be going on holiday in a little more than a week, so maybe after that, I'll post it on FAC. When I have a decent amount of pages. |
