Don't forget, after rating the previous picture you get to post one of your own!
Since you didn't, I'll take the opportunity to post one of mine....
Actually, I'll make it easier on ya.

Hmmm, I'll rate Phoenix (2002). It's a lot different than everything else you've done and it really caught my eye. I like the stained glass effect and your use of colors. Good composition as well. 4/5 at least.
Here's my latest. _________________

Woop! No one rated my picture even while I was gone for a week ^_^ I feel loved. Anyway, I'd rate that picture as 6.5/10. It just doesn't look proportionate, and I keep saying this yet no one understands It's ok if some proportions are exaggerated but it has to LOOK like you did it on purpose, and it has to LOOK like it flows well. The coloring isn't bad, but then it is a little sloppy at some parts. Hmm... that's about it, it just looks kinda midgety. Oh, and the wand is going through her hand. Good attempt and effort, but still only 6.5/10.
As for fallen... Well excuuuse me! You'd think "original" would be enough for well... an original picture. It has no category, not an official character, not from any anime, not a fan-character, not from one of my comics and yet "original" is not the best category for it!? I understand that the category system would go to s**t if people keep drawing official characters (like Tidus, Sonic, Sora, etc.) and not putting specific enough categories. But I never understood why my totally random pic thing was rejected for being placed in the "original" category. But alas, I couldn't give a s**t anymore since it was accepted. As long as it's up I'm fine with it. (Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I would have but I was on vacation for the past week <_< So I didn't have time to reply to the forums.
Ok, since you guys didn't rate my pic before I'll simply post it again in a vain attempt to get someone to rate it.

Don't say it's blurry. Say that it's outside the picture's depth-of-field ^_^ _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Sorry! I didn't mean for that to sound mean or somthing.... I just thought it looked a little too blurry, but if it's supposed to look that way then it's a perfect 5/5!
Ok, that didn't sound too nice either..... ' sorry! |

I give Navi a 3/5. I like the costume, however, I think the edges were alittle too thick. It's kinda hard to see the eyes. Good pic tho. |

Shezera, if you're going to show off a picture from your FAC gallery, could you not attach it to your post? A link to the gallery page works just fine, and then we don't have two copies ofthe same image floating around on the server _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

cute pic, shezara! i love the wispy-ness of the hair and fur and the sweet expression. nice job on the clothing and shading- lots of detail. the lips are kind of weird tho, and the hand has too many fingers (the thumb wouldn't be that long). 9/10
this is a picture i have drawn! (and stuff) _________________ i fought the war, but the war won |

BAMF's right. Not only is the thumb too long but it's not an opposable thumb either (thumbs do not bend at the same angle as other fingers do). Unless the character is one of the rare 6-fingered types.... _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Alex, I really like the realism pics youve been posting lately! I do not know the person here, but Ill attempt a cc and rating for you:
the ear looks a little small, but looking at how thin his nose is and how small his lips are, hey people have different proportions so it could be he has petite ears also. the right eye (left to viewer) seems to be looking at the screen and the other is in angle with the face. the bottom lip is a little less defined than the top or the top is too defined.
all in all great picture. (plug: I wish you would draw one of my Angels, I love your work of the xmen girls) Id rate this a 7/10 which I hope you dont think is low (I put up way earlier on this thread how 8 is like perfect)!
Im gonna post another picture here...people love to kick me in the teeth on this thread, and usually I dont even get a rating out of them afterwards. its Iri this time at the shore from my beach Angels series. when did the ratings here start going by best of 5! and early on this thread there was a lot of ranting about high 5/5 or 10/10 ratings. hey dont be nasty to the one your rating but dont be overly gracious either. 7 to 8/10 is fantastic. if its realism look at Lombis or Fallens work to go to 9 or 10 in that catagorie and work from there! my art is comic so youll have to live with the fact that their boobs are too big! if you want referance to this picture go to my other Iri pictures to see if Im keeping them the same...

Never too young to start, and it's a good job on the wings considering. It's not exactly my style, and what's with the "it is the the" ? Still, not bad, some can't even draw that well. So I'll give it a 3 out of five.
Next, you should recognize this one, after all, it's my current avvie:
