I don't know about you, but I love the PKMN Games. The Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green is going to be cool, but the one I really excited about is Pokemon Emerald.
I start a topic and everyone follows until I change it. OK.Anyone have any thoughts about the game about? It's has the pokemon, Rayquaza!
My idea is about is the game may be a sequel to R/S. I think Team Aqua and Magma team up for the capture of Groudon and Kyroge, but you team up with I think a new team to get Rayquaza since it has Air lock. TA and TM are againist T? because Air Lock cancels the weather effects and you help T?. The Weater Ins. may get a major part too. There pictures are Team Aqua or Magma in the Space Center so what up with that. |

Yeah I love the pokemon games too and emerald looks really cool. I think that Brenden and May should team up and go on an adventure together that would be cool. ^_^ |

well the only thing i like about pokemon games, is that there almost unbeatable, there's always something else you can catch and it will take you forever to get all of your pokemon to level 100 though i dont play them any more, and i only watch the T.V show when my older brother pins me to the couch there still abit fun.... |

I love the Pokemon series. I have the Red, Yellow, Saphire, and Silver versions, as well as Pokemon Stadium too. (Wow, I didn't realise I had so many until now. )
Anywho, I don't play them as much as used to (probably due to my gameboy hardly having batteries. Eheh.) But whenever I've got nothing else to do, those games are great for killing boredom.

I own all the games, except the console ones. Those are poo. (Pokemon isn't really ment to be played on the console... Bad on the eyes.) You probably think I'm a major nerd eh? Well let me reiderate ^_^ Each year or so Nintendo has a "garage sale" event at their company in Redmond, WA. My friend takes me there and we just buy crap loads of games from $3-15. You can see now that I'm not a big fan, just a bargain hunter Anyway, they're all "ok" by my standards. The first two or so were cool because it was original. Then Yellow came out and it was a carbon copy of the two, but with the twist that it's vaguely based on the TV show. Gold and Silver came out, it was "meh." Nothing special or innovative, just more pokemon to catch and a different location. Same general plot and everything. Crystal came out, same thing as yellow, except I don't think it was based on the TV show. Just a carbon copy of gold and silver. Then we have Pokemon Ruby and Saphire, good thing I snagged these two for $5 each. Generally the same thing as Gold and Silver, more pokemon but nothing spectacular in regards to the plot. Sure there's some cool features that they added, like the beauty contest, the pokesnacks (which are loosely based of PEZ) and the joy of battling with two pokemon at once. The last one there would be interesting but you only get to battle a few times with two pokemon, never really remember doing it anyway. Oh, did I mention the plot was the same as the last six games? Evil Team Rocketeque villians try to use pokemon to take over the world. Again. Overall these are "ok" games. It would appeal to more younger people anyway, if you look past the plot, they're great games. But to me, they all just feel like expansions to the game, nothing innovative, just more and more pokemon that you're not going to catch. You have to give credit to Nintendo however, for creating one of the most popular and most sucessful game ever. |
