I've noticed that a LOT of people on FAC have either gone, are going, or planning on going (in the fairly-near future) to Japan ^.^

So I'm starting this up for several reasons:

-People to talk about their experiences (I've known several people and from personal testimony, once you bring up the subject we do NOT want to shut up about it! lol Laughing )

-Advice, tips, etc (Need a cheap hotel? Need a good site-seeing suggestion? Well you'll probably find it here -- if people actually use this <_< )

-Curious people who have yet to, dream about, etc going to Japan

n.n so! Let the games begin!!!

Jenni (Jenniberry) and myself are leaving for Japan on Saturday n.n (business class...oh yea)
I'm psyched cuz I've been planning the ENTIRE trip! ^_^ I feel so important lol

it's just us going, we'll be gone for 16 days.
The first day we're staying in Tokyo (check out the hotel I booked!!! [twin room] Did I do good or what? ^.^!)
In the morning on Monday we're heading out to Fukuoka ^.^

I'll post more later if interest peaks

I've been to Japan, but only for an hour. Sad It was just a stop over, a mere part of our trip to US. *sigh* I still do want to go to Japan and pursue my studies there. I want to take a course in multimedia designing. Unfortunately, my parents do not agree with me. They want me to take a course in pharmacy. I do not like medical courses. <_< Thus, my dreams of ever going to Japan are shattered. It'll be a long, long time before I'll be able to visit or even step on the grounds of Japan again. ;_;

Oh, and yeah, my one-hour stay in Japan was all good. ^_^
im going to the manga academy
never heard of it  is that its actual name or what?

Anyway n.n I'm going to be there for 16 days (July 25-August 10)
I'm leaving Sat (July 24) at 11:30 AM and arriving Sun (July 25) at 2:10 PM n.n
I can't wait for my Tokyo Night!! w00t!
last year we were only in Narita (tokyo) for 2 hours on layaway. It'll be fun this time n.n we're gonna go Paaaaaaar-tay!! lol

We're staying mostly in Fukuoka (Kyuushuu island) n.n I loooooove that place! Lots of great place, people, and HOT guys! (I LOVE Kyuushuu guys! mmMM!!)

We're meeting up with Yumi-Sensei on Wednesday, then going to her class-parties on Thursday and Friday.
Then on Saturday is the Matsuri festival n.n Yuka got me a yukata to wear!! (so friggin excitied)

After that we don't have anything definite planned. The next Sat we're going to Space World. And my birthday is on the 2nd (Jenni's is on the 3rd) n.n so that should be fun!

hm.....I actually don't think we're going near let alone to Ghibli n.n fun Idea though (maybe next year)

there are some things i don't like about Japan (like lack of respect for individuality) but hey..one thing I LOVE is that it's up to kids to make their decisions in life.
the parents get influence and such, but if a kid doesn't want to go to school after 9th grade (where it becomes optional) they don't have to.

They're responisble for getting the money to the principal every month and they're responsible for getting days off of school (like for vacations and such) by writing letters to their teachers and the principal for permission and such.

^.^ I think it's kinda cool how Japan teaches responsibility so young.

I've been in Japan for a week. It was awesome. We stayed with friends... thing is, that was... last year, before I started getting into anime and manga, and the japanese culture altogether. So it wasn't the sort of 'promised land' it is now. I'm going back. Meh.

Go to Kyoto.
