Alright, that little guy bashing his head on the keyboard is called an "avatar". An avatar is just a little picture, much like an AIM icon. You can make your own, or find them at other websites. You can edit your avatar by clicking [b]my controls[/b] at the top of the webpage, and then clicking [b]edit avatar settings[/b] in the little box marked "Personal Profile" to the left of the screen. You'll find all the info you need about your av (avatar), but make sure it's at least 128 pixels by 128 pixels in size.

A signature is just a little saying or quote at the bottom of your page to identify yourself. Like the ending of a letter, but only cooler because you can add colors and quotes and even banners to make it unique. You can find the settings to that in "edit signature" in the Personal Profile box in My Controls.

Once again, you can find the "Edit Profile info" in the "Personal Profile" box in My Controls at the top of the page.

Scarlet, before I forget, this has been happening a lot lately, so I urge you to post your topics in the right forum. If you want to post a topic about an anime show, don't post it in the "Site Discussion" thread. Post it in the designated Forum labelled "Anime".

Oh, don't worry, Flea's just telling you to make sure you post the right topics in the right place. It's a pain for the mods to move topics to where they should be. Don't worry, you put both of your topics in the right place. ^_^

^_^ Alright, first you go into "Edit Signature" in the Personal Profile in My Controls. Then you click on "Guided mode". You will find new buttons at the top, such as "color", size, and font. Highlight the text you want to change, and click on whatever you want to change it too. For example, lets say you want to make "The winds of grace are always blowing; but you have to raise the sail" purple. All you need to do is highlight that quote, click on "color" and select "purple" and you will see it looks like tags. Update it, and it should be purple! Hope that helped. General Art Discussion. Under "Self Promotion". That would be the forum at the top. Don't post self promotion in anything else but that forum.
If you want to advertise someone elses work, you can make a comment in your topic about them. There's also an "Artist of the Month" contest that you could nominate them for if they're on this site.
