Ok..... first off you need a canvas utility like PhotoBase or something so you can scan your pictures into there. You'll probably need some other utilities like Photoshop or PhotoStudio. If you install Photoshop you should get a good canvas utility.
Anyway, to upload a picture to the site, go to the main webpage and sign in with your account. Once you do so you'll be able to see the pictures in que and the ability to add a picture. Look for the button "Add Picture" in the site action bar. It really shouldn't be that hard to find. Once you click the button you'll be redirected to a page that makes you specify what you're adding. (Such as uploading a picture from your computer, website or other random origin or adding a fan fiction/chapter to the database.) Once you specify how you're uploading, it will take you to a description form which you'll be able to add a title, set keywords, add a description, set the rating/warnings and set the quality (sketch or finished work). Once you do this, click submit and the picture will go into the approval que. Which, by the way, is very strict on the qualifications of the picture. By qualifications I mean picture size, file size and appropiateness (is that a word? ) for the rating. You'll be notified (e-mailed) if your picture has been rejected.
Ok, so now you know HOW to submit and everything, but now you need to know what the limits of the picture is. Well there's a help forum dedicated to helping people like you. Not only that, there's an FAQ and a Newbie Thread all dedicated to helping newbies like you. You're very lucky that I'm in the mood to help today, because otherwise I'd say something like, "hit the FAQs n00b." Anyway, click one of those links and it should take you to the right thread/forum you need.
As for uploading pictures from your computer to the forums. Well, unless you're stupid and can't figure out how to upload things to the forum, I'll give you a little tutorial. When you begin writing a forum message, at the bottom of the message thingy you see a section called "File Attachments" where you can upload files directly from your computer to the forum message. Another way to insert a picture is to upload on from a website. To do this go to the top to the HTML help coder and click on the "IMG" button. Then a popup will ask for what the URL for the picture is, punch that sucker in and you'll get a image wherever you want in your message. It's good to use links however, so you don't overload the forums with image files. Oh, and it's a good idea to keep files under 300kb when you add them to the forums so you don't overload it.
Hope this helps. If you're still having trouble... uh, I'm out of ideas. And I'm usually the clever one. Hope this helps you any, if not well that sucks eh?
