I'm somewhat into this game. I know I'm not as good as most but at least I can manage to do light mode (yeah I know that's pathetic, but I'll get better!).

Anyone else into this mega popular game?

I totally dig that game man! I have Step Mania for my comp (it's a DDR simulator) and I bought a metal step platform for it! Booya XD So yeah, I also have it for the X-Box. It's insane fun, but I'm not ultra good like some of those Japanese or we-have-no-real-life white guy game junkies. But I have memorized a few songs. [happy face]

I know some people who are good enough to just turn their backs around while playing as if they know it by heart. Never fails to impress me.

Ever seen these? Personally I think it would be really nifty in any home for any hardcore DDR fan. The only thing that turns me off is the steep price.

DDR metal pads

Eyahhhhh!
I like in England so Im only allowed DSE (Dance Stage EuroMix) but its exactly the same and it f**king rules!!!

Im stuck at 'paramount' level (7 feet, Im not sure you have the same difficulty rating) and can do 8 (Exorbitant) occasionally, but its hard...

Do you have the tune that goes "I, dont, wanna give up. We're gonna have a party, have a really great time!"? hahahahahahaa, sach goad songs...that ones called Dynamite Rave

Aw jeez, I'm only at six to seven feet. EuroMix seems to have really different difficulty classifications - as far as I'm aware, DDR only has... hold on... *counts* five difficulty settings. How many does the EuroMix have?

And I'd really like to get a metal dance platform, but my friend's boyfriend has one and he says he has to repair it almost constantly. Then again, he's playing it almost constantly. I have a wireless dance pad. It's got no slip, no fuss, no muss! I loves it! *huggles dance pad* Laughing

Eh, I don't really like that one. My favorite's probably Rhythm and Police. You just bounce up and down the entire time!! How fun is that?!

Afronova? Hell yeah!!
That tune is probably one ot top...5 tunes. I have DSE and Dance Stage MegaMix, but the MegaMix tunes suck...too 'poppy' where most of the DSE ones are dancy...
Anyway, back to my top 5 DSE tunes. Dynamite Rave, End Of The Century, Afronova, Dead End and...hmm, Paranoia 180 or 190? Hmm...tough one...but it'll be 180 with 190 a close 6th

I love Dance Dance Revolution!!! I have two games, DDR: Max2 (For PS2) and UltraMix (for XBOX) and I have Extreme for PS2 on reserve. I'm fair at it, I use Standard usually, but I can do Heavy, but it makes me tired, lol. My average grade is probably a B.

I love DDR ^_^ I don't have it but im asking for it for my birthday. The group of friends that i hang out with are VERY good its like whoa @___@ one of them that i know is the second best in the state. I am signing up for a DDR competition for standard players lol Laughing I can pass some heavy songs and mostly standard

I like the arcade better though. I would have to say some of my favorite songs are Sakura,Orion (civilzed version or w/e),abyss on heavy and dream a dream on heavy.

Of course stepmania is always just as good Rolling eyes

*looks at dates* w00t for bringing back a dead topic.

I love Butterfly, Love*Shine, Dam Dariram and Captain Jack. My school has a DDR Extreame arcade machine! ^_^ Butterfly is the only song I can do at standard very well though.

I need to play that more often, but it's a buck a play. I wish I had Stepmainia or a PS2 so I could play it in my room, but I'd probably freak out the people in the entry, My room is right over the security guard! Laughing
