I think it's stupid... Why would someone add that to the dictionary? It shouldn't be a word. I also heard they added "D'oh" to the dictionary because of the Simpsons... What's next l33t? _________________ If I was anymore hardcore, I'd be arrested. |

That's America for ya, right there.
Chalupa is in the dictionary too. Yes, Chalupa, the thing from Taco Bell. _________________ a jelly calypso castle in the sky |

Pleather, mp3, and... teensploitation (something like that) were the three I heard about. If you really think about it, all words are "made up". They're just not as stupid as bling-bling. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |
gfryufthiuguodhuth3
what the hell does that mean? o.o
lol I'm not surprised pleather or MP3 got in there, I guess it's just funny to hear that a word like "bling-bling" is. the definition was funny just because it was so....serious:
jewelry, often gaudy or ostentatious
lol n.n
and then the etymology (pretty much, the history of the word as to why it is what it is) was:
from the sound it makes
lol |

Oh god, how f**king idiotic can those people get? <_<
Whaddup or however the f**k you spell it is going to be in there soon. Now the ghetto assholes at school can say they're speaking properly when i tell them to talk right. I'm burning the dictionaries this year. |

Those dictionary people are jackasses. What are they going to put in there next? "Ho", "Gansta"?
All my friends have been copin' attitude with me for "not speaking right" and not saying "Bling-bling" or calling them "Homie". I need something to combat their stupidity...

Oh, hell. It's in the DICTIONARY now? That's it. America has gone completely down the drain. I'm moving to England.
I heard about D'oh being in the Dictonary. I'm SO checking that now.
*laughter* I found it on dictonary.com. So perfect.
Main Entry: doh
Function: interjection
Definition: said when annoyed or disappointed; also spelled d'oh
Etymology: Popularized by the character Homer Simpson in the animated television series The Simpsons, performed by Dan Castellaneta; written in the scripts as "annoyed grunt"
We still have a chance, though. 'Homie' isn't in here yet.
