Hard to decide, eh? X-Box has the objectively superior technical ratings, Gamecube has the best price tag and some of the best mascots, PS2 has the largest market and backwards-compatibility with all PS1 games . . . .

X-box is the most superior, no matter what "unique" things the Gamecube or PS2 offers. The best online play system, greatest graphical/technical abilities, DVD, Hi-Def adapter (or whatever you call them things, they should be coming out soon) - what more could you want?

i'm a ps2 person myself. x-box is superior i'll admit that but you can't play final fantasy or onimusha on x-box. well you can play onimusha genma but that game kind sucks

I've been playing nintendo since I was 4, so naturally I'd like to stick with it. I like the graphics on most games and the plots aren't always corney.

PS2 all the way! X-box can't compare with the game selection, even if some of the technology is better, and i've just never been a nintendo fan.

haha..Sorry about the Spelling errors,but oh well.

I voted for Playstation becuase of Final Fantasy. Those are just the coolest games ever. But I also own a Gamecube as well as a PS2. BUt I would just have to say PS2 all the way baby! X-Box is just too fat. The controlers are to huge! And the titles suck. Graphcs are great and Halo rocks,but just...no.

Just get a mod for it than. It might not work with the GC games, but that's not the point Very Happy

It's about the "greatest system," we all have our opinions and if you think it's worthless because you can't play Mario or Zelda on it, than it's not the greatest system in your opinion. Since I think that the technical superiority the X-box has over the other platforms, I think that it is the greatest system. I own all three systems it's easy for me to pick out which one is the best of the three.

You know that's next to impossible don't you? A mod chip doesn't change the fact that each system has a different programmatic and hardware architecture.

It'll work, trust me. I've seen it done before and I'll see it done many, many times more. It's true that the mods won't convert ALL games to whatever system, but it should be able to sucessfully work.

Hell, I've seen a X-box with a cd/dvd burner built into it - God knows if it works, but hell, you could do just about anything with an X-box. I'm sure the X-box could work through some of the hardware kinks the PS2 has, hell they make ports of games don't they? Don't see why it wouldn't work vise versa through the systems. Plus the X-box pwns so much more technical and hardware wise than the PS2... I'm sure it can handle it.

i own all of the above. almost every game consil, but i like gamecube the best... I've had to get a new x-box like twice now...

I don't think it would work, they use completely different rendering devices and coding. besides if you look just at the sheer power of the machines they always lose to a decent pc. But nintendo said it best this E3, when they said we reached a turning point in the games industry where the best machines are no longer the machines that have the fastest cpu's because the graphics are not going to get that much better anymore for people to see the difference.

i think ps2 is the best , why ?1: because it has wide variety of games , 2: it can play dvds , 3 : it has 4 players too if u get a multitap , and theres 4 player games for it like tales of symphonia and tales of destiny 2 and many otha games .. , not tht becoz i only hav PS2, no i hav GC , and i have XBOX too , but PS2 has wide variety of games really ... but xbox and GC are good too , but ps2 is the best in my opinion , but every1 has his own opinion . ^-^
