GAH thats way too hard to pick just 1 so

Final Fantasy-ESpecially 7 and 9 I just loved the story in 7 and 9 and the characters. can't really say anyhing else other than FF has to be one of the best series out there.

Kingdom Hearts- who'd have thought a disney and square collaboration would work as well as it did. KH is like the only game that almost made me cry

Devil May Cry- I clearly remember months before the DMC demo was released there'd been few good games out. I rented Resi CVX but ended up playing the DMC demo more and when it was finally released it rocked so MUCH. I like both the games but 1 is better. Too bad Dante is such as asshole in the first though. but the music and gameplay ownz me.

Guilty Gear-to me is the greatest 2d beat em up. The characters are so creative and imaginative the plot is cool and the music is some of the best i've ever heard in a game. But the characters are just so unique and stylish.

Resident Evil-Resi 2 is a classic it can still scare me to this day. All the games have awesome plots and I just love all manner of ghouls and zombies making it even better X3 Some of the monsters capcom come up with are so grotesque but cool. Like the licker.

SSX- SSX Tricky is the best sports game out there fun, great controls, good music and a nice selection of characters. I've yet to speak with someone who dislikes it. I hate sports games but SSX is different.

ya know i don't think xenosaga gets enough respect. given that some of the cutscenes are like 45 minutes long but....it's still pretty cool. like watching gundam or something

^_^ I like Legend of Zelda as well they are pretty good games I also like Castlevanias I like more the Castlevania Symphony of the Night. I love Alucard his powers are pretty useful during the game Laughing

my favorite game is definetly (don't know how it's called in English) Kolonisten van Catan. Which isn't a computer game, but an actual game to play on a table with your friends. I think translated into English it would be called something like Settlers of Catan. Does anyone know this game?

My favourite games - well, there's so many! Here's my current top three....

Eternal Darkness : I've only recently got this, but I think it's ace! The sanity feature has fooled me so many times, and is quite innovative too. Plus, I like the fact that most of the characters are quite human and far from flawless, like they are in some games.

Skies of Arcadia : This RPG is almost perfect! The characters are really cool, the story is good and you actually feel sorry for the end boss, Ramirez. I lost so many hours of my life to it, but I don't regret any of them!

Zelda series : What can I say? Nearly every one is a masterpiece!

[b]The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind[/b]: Wanna do almost anything in a medievil fantasy world? Here's you chance! With eight different races to choose from, plenty of character costomization, tons of different classes, and god-knows-how-many different skills and abilities, you are garanteed never to have the same character twice. Now throw this almost limitless character into an almost limetless world. You can travel non-stop accross the continent (and this is a big damn continent) without ever seeing a loading screen. The entire world is there for you to explore. The game is compleatly open ended, and you do not even have to play the main story line if you don't want to. Plus the world is rich in history and background, and there are many different cults, factions, and houses for you to join. Other perks are the vast and differing landscapes, very realistic weather effects, and more armore, weapons, and gear than you can shake a stick at. If you enjoy losing yourself for hours at a time in another world, this is a game for you.

[b]Panzer Dragoon Orta[/b]: Think Star Fox on crack. A great rail-shooter where you basically ride around on a huge shape-shifting dragon and blow away hoards of enemies. With beautiful graphics, gigantic boss fights, and all around quality fun, I suggest giving this sleeper-hit a try.

[b]Alien VS. Predator II[/b]: Do you like Aliens? Do you like Predators? Do you like them combined? Now how do you like watching a bunch of hapless marines get thrown inbetween these two diabolical deamons of death? Yeah, I thougt so. The game is a bit dated, but still looks and plays great. You play one huge storyline from the different perspective of all three races. The marine campaign is friggin' scary as hell, the Pred's campaign is a huge power trip, and the Alien campaign is just plain gory fun. The three races feel and play very different from each other, and the game ensures that you will never get bored. Wanna ride up a dimley lit elevator, only to have it come to a screeching halt as all the power goes out? Then watch as your head lamp, your only source of light now, catches the split second image of a mangled body of a tech worker falling through the darkness, only to have your motion tracker go crazy as it tells you that something is here in this elevator shaft, a lot of something! How about hunting marines through the thick jungle foliage, causing chaos and confusion when your disks slice through the unit of soldiers even as you blend back into the treeline, undetectable. Or would you rather crawl through air ducts, stalking and killing your hapless human prey, their screams cut short as your teeth barry themselves in their throat? You can do all of this, and so much more!

Hmmmmm, got loads for different reasons.

Alien Trilogy~ Good shoot em up, good if ure in a pissed off mood. Just put in the final passwords and blow them up with all guns.

SquareEnix~ Let's face it, its not just ff's that they do good, its kingdom hearts, chrono cross...........etc...................... All good in their own ways.

Zelda~ It's just a classic!

Sonic~ Been a fan for over 10 years, prob not gonna stop now, lol.

Theres prob more just cant think of others at the mo...............

Monkey Island 1 & 2, Guybrush is my own personal god. Shame 3 was only OK, and 4 was sucky. Shoulda stuck with the sprites I say.

ATM I'm playing EQ like a fiend. New expansion just got released, a nice graphical overhaul going on.

I love the Sims game (the Sims, not Sim City or Sim Coster - crap games like that) because it's so diverse and rewarding! It gets boring if you play it for about six hours a day for two weeks (which I have done before). But really it's just a solid, well designed sim/rpg game. I love the Sims and Bustin' Out for the consoles, and I just bought the Sims 2 for the PC. It's awesome so far! But still no two story houses. =.=

Another game I love is Perfect Dark for the N64. Dude! It's like, the best technical advancement of this century! Its AI redefined how designers would construct their bots etc. Its diverse gameplay and weapons are awesome in multiplayer, and if you're a loser loner - don't fret! The AI is especially tuned to any and every player/AI type out there.

Those are really the only two worth mentioning on my behalf. There's also the common games like Halo, Half-Life (no one mentioned Half-Life? wtf?), Ninja Gaiden, Starcraft, UT2004, Empire Earth, Diablo, Doom and Quake. Btw, GTA blows. The only retail value is playing over again and beating/blowing s**t up. It gets old, real fast.
