We used to have the fingertips rule, but no one follows through with it anymore. Long as there's not an excessive amount of ass cheek hanging out, they could care less. Then again, it depends a little bit on the weather. When it was really hot, they were a bit more relaxed, versus someone wearing short shorts and stuff in April or something. And we can wear spaghetti straps, too. As long as your clothes aren't considered a "distraction", they don't really care. Which is cool.
That may all change this year, though. Our old principal was so fuckin' cool. He was old, but during one assembly for sports he walked in wearing a purple wrestling uniform (ick), and during a couple he wore no shirt (again, ick). Oh, and at the last assembly before he retired, he won the "kiss a pig" contest (everyone donated money to the jar for the staff person they wanted to see kiss a pig...for charity). Rumor is another teacher was winning, but after hours on the last day all the teachers in the competition kept coming in and adding money to other teachers' jars 'cause they didn't want to do it. Anyway, he kissed the pig then tackled this kid who was sitting on the gym floor and was "pretending" to kiss him. I will never get that image out of my head. Bleh.
Anyway, the new principal is a dick. He wants to make all these changes like "no off campus lunches" (which is impossible because we only have one lunch period for all grades and the cafeteria can't provide for all the students as they'd be required to) and uniforms (no fuckin' way, dude. He'd never get away with it). So I'm predicting he'll be much more strict where our old principal was cool about it. I think he just liked watching the chicks in little clothes.
Me and my group of friends made an excellent first impression on the new guy, though. Gen came up to the table in May saying "Some guy in bio saw my shirt and said 'dude, david bowie's a fag'" and we were discussing this when the new principal walked by and Megan said quite loudly "Yeah, he could've at least said ass pirate or something classy like that" I'll never forget the look on his face...
Late night rambling. Oops. But ass pirate is a very classy term. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |
the bags with the wheels, i get pissed out. I f**king strap up tripped and feel into a guy because of one. And i had no problem saying to the person, more like yelling down the hallway "Get a real f**king backpack! If you have that many books to carry around all the time, then do something about it! I don't need to be f**king tripping everwhere i go! god damn!" yeah, like i said, i speak my mind a lot at school <_<
I'm sorry, but I would have laughed so hard at seeing someone yell at some dude from opposite sides of the hallway. It's just not something you see often enough.
Especially over backpacks.
Because it's happened to me too, and that's what people do to me.

Haha! I don't start untill this wednesday. Then I get laughed at.
I went and dropped my clarinet off the bleachers last year at a basketball game and now I can't play for s**t. Grrr. I need to get it fixed. Heheh, I'm a band geek. teehee. Oh god I hate it when my friend says that in this high squeeky voice. Drives me nuts.
I'm not gonna get my schedule untill school starts as well as my supplies list. Grr...I'm totally screwed this year. I'm not gonna make it!.... heheh
EDIT: Heheh, I found out that I don't have to go back to school untill thursday because Wednesday is the day for all freshmen and other new peoples. Yay! |

I'm in my second year of college, classes just started today. Declared Theater Major last year, with Studio Arts as a possible Related Area/Minor. Love my school, but they managed to screw up the residental internet network to the point that the tech help desk can't handle all the calls, so backed up I haven't even bothered to call... Course, my computer's not even recognizing my network cable... I used to be a band geek too, also played clarinet! ^_^ Was in the Drama club too...which explains the major.
Anybody else here in college? |

I'm currently in 12th grade. I'm supposed to be a junior this year, but they messed my records up and now I'm stuck being a senior, going to senior homeroom and doing stuff that seniors do. <_< Well, I admit it is kinda good though, but the bad thing is even if I'm a senior this year, I won't be graduating. I still lack a couple of credits. Oh well. . .
And yeah, our classes started August 9th. |

Ah, you're 13 then?
Maemi, that sucks. At least you'll know the material, though. _________________ Not all who wander are lost.

I'm a junior in high school.
I aways thought you were a little older, Flea. Like 16 or 17. You're smarter and more mature than the freshmen I know. _________________ |

Awww, Flea. Don't feel bad, being a freshmen doesn't suck. Okay, yeah, well, maybe it does a little, but just hang on, next thing you know you'll be a respectable senior. ^_^ |

Freshmen suck. Lick my boots. Ha, it's customary for the seniors to decorate the senior halls (that everyone has to walk through because of where they're located) and scare the freshmen shitless. Three years ago they decorated it like a jungle bootcamp and dressed in camo screaming at freshmen. My little brother will be a freshman this year.
