I'm reading "To The Nines" A Stephanie Plum Novel by Janet Evanovich.

It's very good...It's about a female bounty hunter.

I have to read this gay summer reading book called "a night to remember" by Waltar Lord <_< it took me forever to find the freaking book because all the students already bought the books so it was sold out everywhere . . . .

I'm reading the first Master and Commander- I have just a few pages before I can finally get to the second one. NauticalNymph ruined the first three by telling me every detail, but they're great anyways ^.^ If I wasn't slaving away in newspaper, I would've finished it two weeks ago O.o

I'm also re-reading The Language Instinct, by Steven Pinker, all about linguistics and such, and I started The Screenwriting Bible, but I probably won't really get cracking on that for another month.

Then I'm still half way through The Book of Lost Tales 2, one of the extended prequels to Lord of the Rings about the gods of Middle-Earth and all. One day I might also finish Ethan Frome, which I started at the beginning of summer.

That and I'm re-reading all the Elvish lessons on Ardalambion.com so I can re-type my simplified Elvish course because my school wiped all its computers.

I heard that "The Crusible" is good. I may read that too, if I have time. Right now I'm reading "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie. A few days ago, I finished reading "Night" by Elie Wiesel. "Night" is a very good book. I highly recommend it.
The Divine Comedy Volume 1: Inferno
very insightful book by Dante
I plan to read that one day. Sounds like an interesting book.

The Crucible was pretty good. Reading plays are usually easier than novels, anyway. They're often faster paced.

Have to choose a biography of a non-American who greatly influenced their field for World Lit. Who am I reading? Some famous king, perhaps? A brave explorer? Political activist that freed a whole country of people? Pfft, course not, I just bought "Rotten: No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs" by the one and only John Lydon (Johnny Rotten of The Sex Pistols). Very Happy

I have no idea if it's good or not yet, but I like Johnny and usually enjoy what he has to say, n' his view of the whole British punk movement should be quite interesting. Plus, the back of the book mentions Billy Idol, so that's a sure sell for me. Razz Heroin, whores, anarchy, woohoo! My kinda story.

Read The Crucible and Night in classes a few years ago. Blech. Hated them both. The Divine Comedy wasn't bad, but I greatly disliked the month of discussion that went with it.

"The one thing that always pissed me off about the Sex Pistols was our audience showing up in identically cloned punk outfits. There was no way I was going to give them a good time for that. It completely defeated the purpose. We weren't about conformity." - Johnny

Oh my god I love him and want to have his ugly, hypothetical babies! Surprised Seriously, though, it's a good read. Funny, funny stuff. All these Good Charlotte kiddos need to be beaten over the head with this book.

"I'm a spiteful bastard. Always have been. If there's a way to cause trouble, that's perfect for me. Just look at my school records. "A negative attitude"? Well, of course."

Yeah, it doesn't have all the glitz of The Dirt, but it's a pretty damn good book.

I'm about halfway done with The Great Gatsby. So far it's pretty boring, but I hear that it gets more interesting towards the end. I sure hope so.

Just finished reading Eregon by Christopher Paolini. Very good book, and I'm impressed with the use of the many languages that he created for the various races. A bit perdictable, and the forshadowing is rather transparent, but still very good. Reminds me a bit of Jeremy Thatcher: Dragon Hatcher by Bruce Coville, The Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffery, and LotR. Good read for a LotR fan who wants an easier read. Read it cover to cover in one sitting and can't wait for the next one.

I'm also in the middle of re-reading Bram Stoker's Dracula for a class. I get college credits for reading about vampires. Boo-yah. We get to read Anne Rice later in the semester, too. ^_^

Also wading through one of R.A. Salvatore's Forgotten Realms books, Can't remember which. It's that good. <_< I'm not crazy about his style, and his characterization could use work. Not the best I've read.
