Like everyone else here, I'd have to go with "as early as I coudl hold a crayon".

But drawing with any semblance of drawing... I'd have to say about 6 years ago when I first came up with the kittybirgs. I loved my little critters and wanted to improve 'em, so I worked at it.

hmm I don't remember about 3 or 4 or something. Anime style only kicked in when I was about 10 or 11 then I developed it further by mixing it with other styles and looking at online artists work. Basically I just fuse loads of styles together. I've always been one for horror and the dark stuff. Always loved vampires X33 etc. my style is forever changing I just got Hellsing and I already see a change. Love the way teeth are done in that series. Just turned 18.

Well...when I was around two I picked up a crayon and drew a balloon. I think that was my first recognizable picture ever.

When I got older (around 8) my friends and I started drawing paper dolls and cutting them out and playing with them, ya know..drawing furniture and stuff.

Then I stopped drawing for awhile...I'm getting re-interested, though. I'm not the greatest artist but I'm getting better. Laughing

I started young. I can't even remember how old I was but my mother was an artist and my brother has always been good at art. I do remember winning an award for some drawing I did of vampires when I was in the first grade though. ^^

I started drawing really young, but most of my pictures were...well, I like to call them 'abstract' XD I didn't draw people too much. Mostly dogs and things that didn't really exist so that I could be creative. I started drawing people when I started drawing anime which was....well, when Pokemon came out...I started drawing realistic people two or three years later, but my hair can still have a pretty anime quality....*shrug*

I don't remember when I started to draw my own stuff, but I had TONS of coloring books, and those posters w/ the black fuzzy stuff on it where you color in the smooth white areas o.o; lol. I think I started drawing seriously when I was 5 or 6 though. My dad gave me really old computer paper (the kind with holes on each side) and I scribbled them up soooo much, lol. In 3rd grade, I started drawing in school when I had free time, and I drew Super Mario Bros. scenes on the chalk boards and stuff XD I was a big dork, lol. Those were the days when everyone just started knowing who Mario was, ^_^; When I was about 11 and 12 years old, I started drawing my own Sonic the Hedgehog comic books. I quit attempting that at around 16 though.

Now i'm.. here, lol ^.^

Been scribbling since I could hold a crayon and I'm still at it at 19. I still steal crayons from my brother at resturants and draw on the place mats... I used to get in trouble for drawing on homework, and I think I've got as many sketches in my school notebooks as I do notes.

I can clearly remember drawing people when I was around three or four. I drew stick figures with bellybuttons, and then drew clothes over them. My parents still find that really funny.

Everything's gone anime-ish since two years ago when I discovered anime, but I think in general it's helped me improve.

I still can't draw hair, though.

I can remember being able to draw baby spice *shudder* really well when I was smaller. In about grade 5 I saw anime and had no idea what it was and just started drawing in that style. I stopped drawing in exchange for writing poems and stories in grade 6. A few months ago, I rediscovered anime and started drawing again. Now I am constantly doodling anime instead of whatever I'm supposed to do.

I started drawing anime ten years ago, but have been drawing in general a lot longer. I tried realism, but wasn't very good at it, so I've stuck to animated series. Anime has a unique style and I think it's the most fun to draw out of all I've tried.

I didn't really start drawing until about 6th grade- 5-6 years ago >.> I changed schools, and the new one was way behind, so I just started doodlign characters from my rpg with my cousin. I took one art class in 8th grad,e but ti was worthless. The teacher just let me do what I wanted :/ I changed schools again, thought I would join the one at my school, but the instant my teacher saw my comics, she said- and I quote- "We draw real art in my class. You could do some of this on the side."

My gallery- in the face of that conceited so and so
